Smart Networking: Start conversations

Creating links at a distance – How to capitalize on an exchange of viewpoints to get to know each other better, understand each other better and progress together.

Benefits:

  • Communication
  • Exchange of views

Duration of the activity:

  • 5 minutes per question

Format:

In-person, Remote

The challenge:

Capitalize on an exchange of points of view to get to know each other better, understand each other better and progress together.

Use a powerful diagnostic and communication tool to enable everyone to take a stand, express their ideas, learn to respect differences, develop a form of shared leadership and strengthen team spirit.

Smart Networking lets your participants meet in sub-commission rooms, and start conversations. These conversations can be focused on topics chosen in advance, and everyone’s point of view is given anonymously. This makes for a truly interactive plenary session.

What is Smart Networking?

How it works

  • A few days before the event: a call should take place between the project manager and the event organizer to explain the rules and process, and determine the content of the questions. A date and time must also be set for the online event. The invitation link is then generated and sent to the event organizer, along with a brief explanation of the game.
  • The invitation e-mail is sent by the event organizer to all remote participants. The e-mail explains what the contest is all about and invites everyone to take part.
  • Each participant logs in, a moderator briefs them and explains the rules of the session.
  • Each question is asked by the coach and displayed on the participant’s screen. Several answers are displayed, and each participant chooses his or her answer. The coach then invites some of the participants to discuss their point of view.
  • At the end of the session, responses are statistically translated to create a team profile.
